Annual System Condition Review Covers
A structured visual review of major electrical system components, including:
• Service entrance and exterior electrical components
• Main electrical panel and breaker condition
• Surge protection status (if present)
• Grounding and bonding components (visible and accessible)
• GFCI / AFCI protective devices (where installed)
• Interior and exterior receptacles and switches
• Smoke and carbon monoxide device presence
• General electrical system condition and accessibility
You will receive a Stewardship Summary with an overall system condition grade and recommendations, if applicable.
Membership Terms
This program provides a visual, non-invasive electrical system condition review. It is not a code compliance inspection, engineering analysis, or guarantee of system performance.
Membership applies to the enrolled residential address only and is valid for 12 months from the date of enrollment.

Scope, Limitations, and Liability Waiver
Scope of Service
The Coastal Protection Plan™ Residential Electrical System Condition Review is a visual, non-invasive evaluation of the observable electrical system components at the time of service. The purpose of this review is to identify visible signs of wear, damage, deterioration, or potential safety concerns based on conditions observable without dismantling, altering, or damaging any electrical equipment or building components.
This review may include visual observation of accessible electrical components such as service equipment, panelboards, breakers, receptacles, switches, visible wiring, grounding components, and other readily accessible electrical devices.
This service is not a comprehensive technical analysis and is not intended to identify all possible electrical defects.
Non-Invasive and Limited Evaluation
This evaluation is strictly limited to visual and non-invasive observations. Southern Standard Electric Co., LLC does not perform destructive testing, concealed wiring inspection, internal component disassembly, load calculations, insulation resistance testing, or any engineering-level diagnostic procedures unless separately contracted in writing.
Components concealed behind walls, ceilings, insulation, underground, or otherwise inaccessible are excluded from this evaluation.
Not a Code Compliance Inspection
This evaluation is not a code compliance inspection and does not certify compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), local building codes, insurance requirements, or any governmental or regulatory standards.
Any references to safety concerns or recommendations are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute a formal code compliance determination.
No Guarantee or Warranty of System Condition
This evaluation does not guarantee the future performance, reliability, or safety of any electrical system or component. Electrical systems may fail at any time without visible warning.

Membership in the Coastal Protection Plan™ does not constitute an insurance policy or guarantee against electrical failure.
Not a Home Inspection
This service is not a home inspection as defined by state home inspection licensing laws and is not intended to replace or substitute for a licensed home inspection, engineering evaluation, or specialized inspection.
Client Responsibility
The homeowner acknowledges that electrical systems require ongoing maintenance and that conditions may change after the time of evaluation. The homeowner is responsible for monitoring their electrical system and requesting service if concerns arise.
Failure to implement recommended repairs or maintenance may increase the risk of equipment failure, property damage, or safety hazards.
Limitation of Liability
Southern Standard Electric Co., LLC shall not be liable for any damages, losses, injuries, system failures, or consequential damages arising from conditions that were not visible, not accessible, or that develop after the time of inspection.
Southern Standard Electric Co., LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to this service.
Total liability, if any, shall be limited to the amount paid for the Coastal Protection Plan™ membership during the current annual term.
No Third-Party Reliance
This evaluation is provided solely for the benefit of the enrolled homeowner and may not be relied upon by third parties without written consent from Southern Standard Electric Co., LLC.
Acknowledgment and Acceptance
By enrolling in the Coastal Protection Plan™ or accepting this service, the homeowner acknowledges and agrees to the scope, limitations, and conditions outlined above.
